Next THREE Liverpool FLOPS to follow Rickie Lambert out of Anfield as Brendan Rodgers clears out DEAD WOOD

Rickie Lambert has completed a move to West Brom, after failing to impress in his debut season with Liverpool.

The former Southampton man managed a paltry three goals in 40 appearances, and failed to help Brendan Rodgers deal with the loss of Luis Suarez from last summer. With the signings of Christian Benteke and Danny Ings, there was no longer a place for the player at Anfield.

The Reds aren’t finished there though, with three more players looking likely to be following the 34-year-old out the exit door after being told to train alone [Metro].

3) Jose Enrique

After making just nine appearances for the Reds last season the Spaniard was already on the fringes of Rodgers’ squad. The only problem could be finding a club willing to take the full-back, who hasn’t impressed in recent campaigns.

2) Fabio Borini

The 24-year-old has struggled to make an impact for the Reds, even after a successful loan spell with Sunderland in the 2013-14 season. Last time round he netted only one goal in 18 matches, and Benteke and Ings could replace him as well as Lambert.

1) Mario Balotelli

Four goals in 28 games during his debut campaign wasn’t a great return on the £16 million that Liverpool spent on the Italy international from AC Milan. So much so, that they are looking likely to get rid of the forward after less than 12 months at the club.
