Top 10 transfer rumours of the week ranked by probability: Ibrahimovic to Man Utd, Lewandowski to Arsenal & legend return

Ranking the ten biggest transfer rumours of the week by chances of coming true!

10) Robert Lewandowski (Bayern Munich to Arsenal)

Surely not possible – Bayern Munich only signed Robert Lewandowski last summer and he remains a world class striker despite something of a slow start, and is surely too expensive for Arsenal.

9) Zlatan Ibrahimovic (Paris Saint-Germain to Manchester United)

A transfer we’d all love to see, but one that remains a bit of a fantasy. Not helped by some teasing quotes from the player himself, but it seems unlikely that we’ll see the great Zlatan Ibrahimovic at Old Trafford.

8) Gonzalo Higuain (Napoli to Manchester City)

A player Napoli have insisted they will not sell, and a player Manchester City do not particularly need, it seems unlikely that Gonzalo Higuain will be moving to the Etihad Stadium.

7) Nicolas Gaitan (Benfica to Manchester United)

Linked for the 100th time with a move to United, Nicolas Gaitan probably isn’t joining the Red Devils this summer, though he’d make sense as an extra option in attack.

6) Asier Illarramendi (Real Madrid to Liverpool)

A possible deal, but we’ve seen it all before and Liverpool’s big spending for the summer may be over, with free agent James Milner likely to be Steven Gerrard’s replacement in midfield.

5) Pedro (Barcelona to Manchester United)

A more probable option out wide for United, speculation is growing that Barcelona winger Pedro will be heading to the club for around £22m this summer after deciding to quit the Nou Camp.

4) Dimitar Berbatov (AS Monaco to Aston Villa)

Another signing that would be hugely popular with the neutrals, speculaiton is growing that United and Tottenham legend Dimitar Berbatov will be coming back to the Premier League with Aston Villa.

3) Javier Hernandez (Manchester United to West Ham)

A move that makes sense for all involved, West Ham seem the strongest suitors for United outcast Javier Hernandez and should manage to push this deal through.

2) Abdul Rahman (Augsburg to Chelsea)

With rumours that a fee has been agreed, Augsburg left-back Abdul Rahman seems set to move to Chelsea after months of strong speculation that he’s one of the Blues’ top priority targets.

1) Angel Di Maria (Paris Saint-Germain to Manchester United)

A move on the verge of completion, Angel Di Maria will surely be leaving United for PSG once a fee can be agreed, though some sources say it already has, with a £44m move looking most likely.
