Angel Di Maria: I am very happy to leave Man United for PSG

Argentine international Angel Di Maria is happy to wave goodbye to rainy Manchester according to reports in The Sun that state the 27-year-old winger is keen to help PSG to major silverware in 2015/16.

PSG are set to complete a £44.3m deal to sign the South American wide-man, some way less than the £59.7m Man United paid Real Madrid for the player a year ago, with Louis van Gaal set to invest some of the proceeds into a move for Barcelona attacker Pedro.

Di Maria is in Doha ahead of his medical with the Parc des Princes side and was quick to state just how excited he is about his future in the French capital.

“I am happy because PSG wanted me to come here and that makes me very happy.

“After that, I will try to do things the best I can and will try to work hard and give it all I can like I have done in other clubs.

“I hope things go well and that we can win many titles.

“I know PSG won everything last season and every title and that is important for a big club.” Di Maria added.
