One of the best strikers in the world, Chelsea front-man Diego Costa had an awesome first season in England last year, with only injuries preventing him winning the Golden Boot.

5) David Silva (Manchester City)

No longer looking like the player he once was, David Silva is arguably a little high on this list, but remains a class act when on form.

4) Cesc Fabregas (Chelsea)

An instant success at Chelsea, Cesc Fabregas will be hoping for another influential season from midfield, though he needs to avoid that dip in form that plagued him in the second half of last season.

3) Alexis Sanchez (Arsenal)

One of the best players in the world, Alexis Sanchez has been a superb signing for Arsenal and could be in contention for first place if he improves any further.

2) Eden Hazard (Chelsea)

A surprise second, Chelsea winger Eden Hazard was named PFA Player of the Year last season and lit up the top flight with his dazzling displays.

1) Sergio Aguero (Manchester City)

A world class striker, no doubt, Manchester City star Sergio Aguero finished as top scorer last season and could make the difference in the title race in 2015/16.
