Chelsea v Swansea confirmed teams: Diego Costa STARTS for the champions at Stamford Bridge

Chelsea host Swansea City at Stamford Bridge in their opening game of the 2015-16 campaign, as Jose Mourinho looks to get the Blues’ title-defending campaign off to a perfect start on home turf.

Fierce rivals Manchester United secured three points over Tottenham Hotspur in Saturday’s early kick off, which will no doubt have fired the west London giants up even further ahead of their 5.30pm kick off.

The big team news surrounds Diego Costa. There has been much speculation over the fitness of the centre-forward, who is said to still be struggling with a hamstring problem that ruled him out of the end of last season, but he has recovered in time to face the Swans.

Mourinho starts an XI with no changes to the side that secured the Premier League title last term, as the Portuguese manager has refused to turn to the transfer market to significantly strengthen his squad.

Take a look at the confirmed line-ups for Saturday evening’s clash…

Chelsea have won the curtain-raiser for 16 successive years, and the pressure is certainly on the Swans to put an end to the intimidating run of their opponents.
