Real Madrid make final ‘take it or leave it’ offer for Man United star

Real Madrid have made a final offer for Man United keeper David de Gea as the Bernabeu side seek to bring an end to their long running push to capture the Spanish international according to the Daily Telegraph.

The Bernabeu side will offer £21.2m for the 24-year-old Old Trafford star which may be a fee Man United consider given that they stand to lose David De Gea on a free transfer in 12 months’ time.

Louis van Gaal has refused to use De Gea until after the transfer window has closed, claiming that the former Atletico Madrid’s concentration will be suspect until that point.

The Dutch manager handed new signing Sergio Romero his debut in Man United’s opening weekend win over Tottenham and after a nervy start the Argentine international impressed and kept a clean sheet.
