Tottenham have set their sights on Borussia Dortmund midfielder Sven Bender according to the Daily Telegraph.
The White Hart Lane side have made the 26-year-old German international their top summer transfer target as Mauricio Pochettino continues to re-shuffle his Tottenham squad.
Pochettino has axed a number of his midfield contingent during the transfer window with Paulinho, Etienne Capoue, Lewis Holtby and Benjamin Stambouli having all been axed.
Bender was not a regular starter in Jurgen Klopp’s side last term but things could prove different under new manager Thomas Tuchel.
