Arsenal to launch STUNNING £64m triple raid on Ligue 1 giants, including move for Man Utd transfer target

Arsenal set for £64m spending spree on Ligue 1 trio.

Arsenal are preparing to pay as much as £64m to sign three new players from Ligue 1 this summer, with the Gunners looking to strengthen in a number of areas.

An opening day defeat to West Ham served as a wake-up call to Arsene Wenger, and although his side bounced back with a win at Crystal Palace this weekend, there still looks like room for improvement.

According to reports today, these are the three France-based stars Arsenal could be set to bring in:

1) Edinson Cavani (PSG)

In a £35.5m deal, Arsenal are set to revive their interest in signing Paris Saint-Germain striker Edinson Cavani, who would be a significant upgrade on Olivier Giroud up front.

3) Adrien Rabiot (PSG)

A fine French youngster, PSG midfielder Adrien Rabiot could be a useful addition alongside Francis Coquelin in the Arsenal midfield engine room, and it is rumoured that he could move for around £20m.
