5. Blues hold Lacazette ‘talks’

The Daily Star reported on Tuesday night that Chelsea had opened talks with Alexandre Lacazette – who extended his Lyon deal just two weeks ago – over a possible move to Stamford Bridge.

The France striker is Jose Mourinho’s second choice striker target.

4. Griezmann a priority target

Atletico Madrid’s Antoine Griezmann is Jose Mourinho’s first choice striker target.

The Telegraph report that Chelsea are hoping that Everton defender John Stones will force a move to west London and hand in a transfer request at Goodison Park.

The Blues, according to the British newspaper, believe that their three bids highlights their commitment to securing his signature, and want the player to now prove his desire to head to the champions.

2. John Terry to join Robin van Persie?

The Blues skipper, according to the Daily Mail, has emerged as a target for Fenerbahce – who recently signed former Arsenal and Manchester United striker Robin van Persie.

The centre-back’s future at Stamford Bridge is in doubt after his half time substitution at Manchester City, and having entered the final year of his contract, Fenerbahce are looking to pounce on his signature early.

Manchester United have been heavily linked with Pedro, but BBC Sport have reported that Chelsea have agreed a £21m deal with Barcelona, and the Spaniard is on his way to London to undergo his medical with the Blues and finalise his Camp Nou exit.

Catalan newspapers believe the deal is hours away from completion.
