1) Mateo Kovacic (Real Madrid)

Despite being strongly linked with Liverpool, Croatian midfielder Mateo Kovacic eventually ended up joining Real Madrid from Inter Milan this week in an exciting move.

2) Pedro (Chelsea)

One of the stand-out deals from the Premier League in the last seven days, Pedro joined Chelsea form Barcelona after snubbing an offer from Manchester United.

3) Baba Rahman (Chelsea)

After some superb form for Augsburg last season, Ghanian left-back Baba Rahman finally joined Chelsea this week after a long drawn-out transfer saga.

4) Nicolas Otamendi (Manchester City)

In another major blow for Manchester United, Valencia defender Nicolas Otamendi ended up sealing a £33m switch to Manchester City to bolster their back line.

5) Florian Thauvin (Newcastle)

One of the most exciting prospects in French football, Florian Thauvin has moved to Newcastle United this week.

6) Remy Cabella (Marseille)

Whilst Thauvin joined, another Frenchman, Remy Cabella made an exit from St James’ Park to move back to Ligue 1 with Marseille.

7) Gokhan Inler (Leicester City)

In a club-record deal, Leicester City signed Napoli midfield powerhouse Gokhan Inler to significantly boost their survival hopes for this season.

8) Clinton N’Jie (Tottenham)

In need of new strikers, Tottenham beat north London rivals Arsenal to the signing of Cameroon prospect Clinton N’Jie from Lyon.

9) Roberto Soldado (Villarreal)

As one striker headed in, another left White Hart Lane as Spanish flop Roberto Soldado returned to La Liga to sign for Villarreal.

10) Adama Traore (Aston Villa)

One of the top prospects at Barcelona, Adama Traore opted to leave the club for first-team football and has ended up at Aston Villa in what should be a hugely exciting move for them.
