Chelsea transfer news: 3 in, 3 out as Blues eye £131m trio in late summer spree, with swap deal for Arsenal target

Chelsea transfer news – Blues’ likely business before the end of the summer.

Fans can expect some hugely exciting Chelsea transfer news before the end of the summer as the Blues possibly look set to spend an amazing £131m on three more signings.

The Premier League champions have had a fairly quiet summer so far, though they look to be upping their game late on after bringing in Pedro from Barcelona.

Jose Mourinho now wants three more big names to improve the spine of his squad, with various recent reports suggesting this is how he plans to conduct his business…

Out – Willian

No longer first choice after the arrival of Pedro out wide, Willian is now expected to join Juan Cuadrado in leaving Chelsea, possibly also making the move to Juventus, though PSG are also interested.

In – Paul Pogba (Juventus)

If Willian does move to Turin, it could give the Blues a huge advantage in the race to sign French midfield powerhouse Paul Pogba, who has been linked with a £70m switch to Stamford Bridge.

Out – John Obi Mikel

A backup player these days, John Obi Mikel is attracting interest from Turkish clubs and seems likely to be offloaded in the next couple of days.

In – John Stones (Everton)

Despite having another bid rejected, according to latest Chelsea transfer news, it could be that the club will be able to sign Everton defender John Stones if they finally meet his £40m asking price.

Out – Loic Remy

Now third choice up front, Loic Remy hasn’t done quite enough in his time as a Chelsea player and makes sense as one who could be shown the door.

In – Alexandre Lacazette (Lyon)

If Chelsea can use Remy in a swap deal for Lyon striker Alexandre Lacazette, even better. This swap deal has been talked up for some time, so it could be that there’s still a chance for the west London giants to land this world class finisher before the deadline.
