England squad annoucment: Four players who DO NOT deserve their place in Roy Hodgson’s latest setup

Following news of the latest England squad for their upcoming Euro 2016 qualifiers against San Marino and Switzerland next month and there has been some eyebrows raised with the selection of some players.

Take a look at four who fall into that category:

1) Harry Kane (Tottenham)

After a stunning season last year, Kane has struggled to get going at the start of this and is yet to register a goal in the new campaign.

Charlie Austin is in great form for QPR and would have been a better option if the squad is based on form rather than reputation.

2) Ryan Mason (Tottenham)

It’s no secret of Spurs have lacked creativity in their games so far this season and Mason’s place in the squad could have gone to Jason Puncheon, who has impressed many in the past six months for Crystal Palace.

3) Kieran Gibbs (Arsenal)

The left-back is being kept out of the Arsenal side by Nacho Monreal and hasn’t done anything to warrant a call-up to the latest squad.

4) Fabian Delph (Manchester City)

The new Manchester City midfielder has been reduced to just 17 minutes of first-team football since arriving from Aston Villa earlier in the summer and would have been better off sitting out the double-header.
