Arsenal clear out: Gunners to sell quartet before transfer deadline, including youthful pair

Arsenal clear out – Gunners to offload four first-teamers.

There could be a late Arsenal clear out on transfer deadline day, with four Gunners players linked with late exits in some surprise deals.

Although Arsene Wenger is arguably more in need of arrivals than departures, it seems there are no incoming deals on the cards, but a quartet of stars heading out of north London…

1) Nacho Monreal

Although it may be reporters reading too much into something, Nacho Monreal recently followed Athletic Bilbao on Twitter, sparking rumours that the Spanish left-back could be interested in moving to the club who have shown a strong interest in him throughout the summer.

2) Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain

Linked with a shock move to Galatasaray, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain does not look guaranteed a regular place in the Arsenal team and could move to Turkey if the right offer comes along.

3) Joel Campbell

Tipped to move to a number of clubs at points this summer, Joel Campbell surely has no future with Arsenal and could move to any one of Galatasaray, Benfica or Sporting Lisbon late on today.

4) Mathieu Flamini

Yet another Arsenal player wanted by Galatasaray, Mathieu Flamini is not in Arsene Wenger’s plans this season and is a player the club would like to get off their wage bill.
