Arsenal Ibrahimovic: Four reasons Gunners MUST sign charismatic PSG star & Man Utd target

Four reasons the Arsenal Ibrahimovic deal would be brilliant.

A shock deadline day rumour, but the possibility of an Arsenal Ibrahimovic deal has got fans talking and it could be that the Gunners will land this amazing centre-forward to solve their issues up front.

Of course, the move carries some risks given the player’s age and known ego issues, but here’s four reasons we feel the veteran Swede would be brilliant in the Premier League…

1) He’s still world class

Whatever the concerns about his age, Zlatan Ibrahimovic will surely fire 20-25 goals this season for PSG, and is still going to score screamers in the Champions League as per usual. Arsenal mustn’t pass up the chance to have that kind of class in their team, with the arrogant forward capable of changing any game in an instant.

2) He’s an ideal short term answer

Age does mean Ibrahimovic will start to slow down soon, of course, but that could be ideal for Arsenal as they eye a short-term solution to their problems. With Karim Benzema and Edinson Cavani seemingly not available, it looks like the Gunners will have to wait another year to bring in a more long-term option up front, but Ibra will ease their woes for one season, if not more.

3) He’s experienced at winning

After a glorios career with trophies galore, Ibrahimovic can aid this Arsenal team that sometimes lacks real winners and the ability to go all the way in the big competitions. Although he has not yet played in England, he has what it takes to shine at this level and would be a brilliant option in the Champions League.

4) He’ll be motivated

Having won titles in Holland, Italy, Spain and France, Ibrahimovic is enough of an egoist to want to prove he can be a success in the Premier League as well, so he won’t be short of motivation to prove some doubters over here wrong and help Arsenal to glory.
