Man United youngster wanted by Derby County as Old Trafford side consider loan deal

Derby County have set their sights on Man United striker James Wilson according to the Daily Star.

The teenage forward may struggle to force his way into Louis van Gaal’s starting eleven following the deadline-day signing of AS Monaco youngster Anthony Martial and as such a loan switch could be best for all concerned though Man United may prefer the 19-year-old to move to a Premier League side in order to garner some top tier experience.

James Wilson netted twice on his Premier League debut against Hull City in May 2014 and also scored in both the Premier League and FA Cup in 2014/15.

James Wilson scored on his England Under 21 debut earlier this month and could offer the Rams a strong option in the final third.

Paul Clement’s Derby County side have started the season very poorly, failing to win any of their opening five Championship fixtures.
