Besiktas are also eyeing the former Barcelona star, who has barely featured for the Red Devils since signing for the club earlier this year on a free transfer.

According to Fichajes.net, Valdes’ situation at Old Trafford remains uncertain and could lead to a quick exit from the club in the near future, despite United also facing interest in David de Gea from Real Madrid.

The 33-year-old would make a fine backup if De Gea did leave, but it seems he has fallen out of favour with manager Louis van Gaal despite impressing in limited appearances for the Reds.
