FIVE Everton players make combined XI with Chelsea, including Blues target John Stones & Man Utd targets

Wow – Everton & Chelsea combined XI closer than you’d think!

Chelsea and Everton might not feel like a clash between two of the Premier League’s big boys, but judging on form so far this season, the Toffees get an incredible five of their players in this combined line up…

GK: Thibaut Courtois (Chelsea)

Injured now and possibly set for four months out, Thibaut Courtois is still the best goalkeeper at both of these clubs.

DR: Seamus Coleman (Everton)

One of the best right-backs in the Premier League and linked with Chelsea in the past, Seamus Coleman is certainly in ahead of Branislav Ivanovic at the moment, with the Serbian starting very badly this term.

DL: Leighton Baines (Everton)

A quality performer at left-back with great delivery from set pieces and an eye for goal, Everton’s Leighton Baines is a better all-round option than Cesar Azpilicueta.

DC: John Stones (Everton)

A player Chelsea tried to sign all summer, Everton defender John Stones is one of the best young prospects in the country and perhaps a safer bet than John Terry at the moment.

DC: Gary Cahill (Chelsea)

Still an important player at Chelsea, Gary Cahill makes our combined XI and would form a terrific partnership with Stones if the Blues can get him.

MC: Nemanja Matic (Chelsea)

One of the best defensive midfielders in the world right now, Nemanja Matic keeps his place in this combined line up.

MC: Ross Barkley (Everton)

Cesc Fabregas, however, misses out after a long run of poor form now, while Everton starlet Ross Barkley looks a hugely exciting talent and has been linked with a move to Stamford Bridge before.

AMR: Pedro (Chelsea)

A superb summer signing from Barcelona, Pedro is a player who can provide some spark for this struggling Chelsea team this season.

AML: Eden Hazard (Chelsea)

Yet to hit top form, Eden Hazard is still a world class attacking player who can turn Chelsea’s season around if he gets back to his best.

AMC: Oscar (Chelsea)

A fine player in the number ten role, Brazilian playmaker Oscar is the final Chelsea player in this combined XI.

FC: Romelu Lukaku (Everton)

Formerly of Chelsea, Romelu Lukaku has been superb since moving to Everton, attracting some interest from Manchester United this summer, and he currently looks better than the unfit and unconfident Diego Costa.
