1) Victor Wanyama (Southampton)

Linked today with a move to Chelsea, Southampton midfielder Victor Wanyama has impressed in the Premier League and could make the £20m move to Stamford Bridge in January as a cheaper alternative to Paul Pogba.

2) John Stones (Everton)

One of the best young defenders in the world, Everton centre-back John Stones was a top target for Chelsea throughout the summer and is tipped to be on the club’s radar again in the January transfer window.

3) Moussa Sissoko (Newcastle)

Linked with both Chelsea and Arsenal many times in the past, Newcastle midfielder Moussa Sissoko could still be a target for the Blues this winter as another alternative to Pogba and Wanyama.

4) Seamus Coleman (Everton)

Linked many times with Chelsea and also on PSG’s radar ahead of the winter, Everton right-back Seamus Coleman is one of the top full-backs in Europe and would make a fine replacement for the struggling Branislav Ivanovic.

5) Aaron Cresswell (West Ham)

Linked with Chelsea in the summer, West Ham left-back Aaron Cresswell could still be on the Blues’ radar if Cesar Azpilicueta ends up moving to right-back to make up for Ivanovic’s poor form.
