Here’s our Premier League team of the weekend, with Manchester United striker Anthony Martial stealing the show with his superb brace, joined by stars at Chelsea and Tottenham

GK: John Ruddy (Norwich City)

A top class goalkeeper who really played his part in helping Norwich City to a hard-fought point against Liverpool at Anfield, John Ruddy is the first name in our Premier League team of the weekend.

DR: Branislav Ivanovic (Chelsea)

Back to his solid best against Arsenal on Saturday, Branislav Ivanovic repaid the faith shown in him by Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho.

DL: Ben Davies (Tottenham)

A fine young left-back who is doing really well as first choice for Tottenham this season, Ben Davies was a key part of the team’s attacking play against Crystal Palace.

Solid at the back and getting forward to score the opening goal, Kurt Zouma had a great game for Chelsea as he continues to establish himself as worthy of being first choice.

DC: Winston Reid (West Ham)

A fantastic central defensive display from West Ham United’s Winston Reid, who was a major factor in the Hammers’ shock win at league leaders Manchester City.

MC: Cesc Fabregas (Chelsea)

Another Chelsea player with a point to prove, Cesc Fabregas turned on the style against old club Arsenal, and got the assist for the first goal.

MC: Dele Alli (Tottenham)

Showing himself to be a very capable performer, Tottenham youngster Dele Alli ran the show from midfield as Spurs beat Crystal Palace.

AMR: Victor Moses (West Ham)

Scoring the opening goal and looking lively all night, Victor Moses had a fine game for West Ham and did parent club Chelsea a favour by handing Manchester City their first defeat.

AML: Son Heung-min (Tottenham)

Scorer of a superb winning goal, Son Heung-min was brilliant for Tottenham on his home debut in the Premier League, putting in a lively display for the whole game.

AMC: Eden Hazard (Chelsea)

Back to his best and back among the goals, Eden Hazard made life very difficult for Arsenal this weekend and showed why he’s so important to Chelsea.

FC: Anthony Martial (Manchester United)

Concluding our Premier League team of the weekend, Manchester United striker Anthony Martial continued to silence his critics with a fantastic performance and two well-taken goals to win the game against Southampton.
