Top 10: Premier League CRYBABIES: Chelsea boss & Arsenal stars know how to spread the blame around

You don’t need to be a constant loser to know how to complain when things don’t fall your way – and there’s a number of superb players and coaches in the Premier League that can attest to that.

From tattling on other players for fighting back to accusing doctors of contributing to a loss, these guys really know how to deflect the blame and do everything possible to get other people in trouble for the sake of a competitive edge.

Here we list the 10 biggest Premier League crybabies, starting with an Arsenal star who knows to complain:

10. Olivier Giroud

Arrogance, confidence, whatever it is – Giroud is always willing to place his mouth where his production isn’t and is more than happy to complain about not being Arsenal’s No. 1 striker as he goes on lengthy scoring droughts once he actually gets a spot in the starting XI.

9. Brendan Rodgers

The Liverpool boss deserves credit for being able to follow up crushing defeats with wins over inferior talent, but when it comes to explaining why he wasn’t able to win a trophy, Rodgers is all out of answers.

8. Raheem Sterling

Not content with taking the reins of Liverpool legend Steven Gerrard, the Golden Boy Sterling decided to complain his way out of Anfield and force through a massive transfer deal with Man City.

7. Arsene Wenger

You’d think that after so many years of not winning the Premier League that the Arsenal boss would learn how to take a loss in his stride.

But much like his Champions League lineups, Wenger just doesn’t know how to get it right.

6. Arsenal fans

A decade and more without even a taste of the Premier League title, much less a major continental trophy, have made Arsenal fans among the first to throw in the towel at the first sign of a slow start. From calls to dump Arsene Wenger despite his stellar winning percentage to tearing down signs from White Hart Lane after a WIN over Tottenham, nothing ever seems to be good enough for the Gooners.

5. Diego Costa

The Chelsea striker is the sandpit bully who smacks little kids around, but when the little kids decide to fight back, he tells on them for hitting him. Well, the FA finally had enough of his antics after last week’s debacle against Arsenal and slapped him with a three-match ban.

4. Saido Berahino

Like many of his fellow footballers playing for weaker teams, Berahino thought he could complain his way away from West Bromwich Albion. But when WBA called his bluff, Berahino threatened to never play for the club again unless a transfer was forced through.

Ironically, he ended up returning to the team without much of a change in his status.

3. David De Gea

A lengthy transfer saga between De Gea and Man United over a move to Real Madrid ended in bizarre fashion in the final hours of the summer transfer window.

Prior to signing a major extension at Old Trafford, De Gea and members of his inner circle had done everything from insult the city of Manchester to leak to the media that a deal had been done months before.

2. Piers Morgan

Ok, we’re going to completely break the rules here by listing a guy who knows about as much about football as he knows about keeping his mouth shut. But Morgan isn’t completely disqualified since he does have a partial ownership stake in Arsenal.

Now that that’s out of the way, has there ever been an Arsenal fan on the planet who complains more when the Gunners fall behind or whines more when Chelsea stars like John Terry turn down his requests to join their derby rivals?

Some question whether he’s even a fan at all!

1. Jose Mourinho

For someone with fewer losses than fingers since the start of 2015, The Special One complains more when his teams lose than even the most out-of-their-mind Chelsea fans.

From blaming the officials to blaming the rules to even blaming his own doctors for “not understanding the game of football,” Jose Mourinho stands head and shoulders above all others when it comes to shifting the blame away from himself.
