Chelsea set sights on Spain-based trio of quality signings.
Chelsea are rumoured to be looking into signing three players from La Liga in the January transfer window, according to various recent reports and speculation.
The Blues had a frustrating summer in the transfer market, bringing in mainly unproven youngsters and over-the-hill players like Radamel Falcao and Asmir Begovic as backup options.
However, with the success of bringing in Pedro from Barcelona, Chelsea are preparing to raid the Spanish top flight again for these three big names:
1) Jose Luis Gaya (Valencia)
One of the best young left-backs in the game at the moment, Chelsea want to rivall Arsenal for the signing of Valencia left-back Jose Luis Gaya in January, as they ponder moving Cesar Azpilicueta to the right-hand side to replace Branislav Ivanovic.

2) Raphael Varane (Real Madrid)
Chelsea could also look to bring in Real Madrid defender Raphael Varane to boost their options at centre-back. The French international is a long-term target for Jose Mourinho and could be an ideal replacement for John Terry.
3) Dani Alves (Barcelona)
Finally, Chelsea have also been linked with a surprise move to sign Barcelona right-back Dani Alves this winter, with the experienced Brazilian possibly set to lose his place at the Nou Camp, though he’d be a superb player to replace Ivanovic.
