Chelsea ended their miserable losing streak with a 2-1 victory over Dynamo Kiev in the Champions League on Wednesday evening to ease the pressure on coach Jose Mourinho and take the Blues up to second place in Group G.
Aleksandar Dragovic scored an own goal as Chelsea took the lead, but the same player levelled the contest on 77 minutes. However, Willian-so often Mourinho’s saviour this season-struck inside the last ten to rescue the victory for the unimpressive Pensioners.

Which two Premier League players are trying to COAX Messi to England? Chelsea, Man City, Manchester United all keen
GK: Asmir Begovic
He’s not Thibaut Courtois is he? Flapped for Kyiv’s free kick and had a few uncomfortable moments. Will have been more relieved than anyone when Willian scored the winner. 5/10.
DR: Cesar Azpilicueta
A solid job defensively, with four tackles and four interceptions, arguably looking more comfortable back in his favoured position. 7.5/10.
DL: Abdul Rahman Baba
Still yet to demonstrate the confidence and elegance that marked his showings in the Bundesliga last term. Guilty of the foul that led to Dynamo’s equaliser. 6/10.
DC: John Terry
Generally competent, but struggled with Dragovic during a few tricky moments. 6/10.
DC: Kurt Zouma
Pace and power complemented ageing warrior Terry. Could he replace Cahill in the heart of the defence in the Prem? 7/10.
MC: Ramires
Energy and endeavour as ever, a useful component on a night like this. 6.5/10.
MC: Nemanja Matic
A monster in the middle of the park with a whopping eight tackles…four more than any other player on the pitch. 8/10.
AMR: Willian
A key man once again, turned on the style on 83 minutes to score the winner…who knows how important that goal could be for Chelsea and Mourinho! 9/10.
AML: Oscar
One of his better outings of the season. Gone was the lethargy that has characterised so many performances this term. 7.5/10.
AMC: Cesc Fabregas
Still looks far from his best, despite a few flashes of the excellent understanding he demonstrated with Costa during the early part of last season. 6.5/10.
FC: Diego Costa
A strong presence up front, but while he appeared focused on playing to his strengths, he struggled to have much of an impact. 7.5/10.
Sub: Eden Hazard
Only featured for the final ten minutes, but an energetic showing…reason for optimism? 7/10.
Sub: Pedro
The early promise appears to have evaporated for Pedro at Stamford Bridge; introduced for the final 11 minutes but didn’t have much impact. 6/10.
Sub: Gary Cahill
Introduced at the death for match-winner Willian. n/a
