Chelsea gossip: Blues star tells starlet he’s wanted as giant Lokomotiv striker is targeted

Monday’s biggest Chelsea news and transfer rumour roundup.

Red Star Belgrade midfielder Marko Grujic, 19, says he has been told by Serbian compatriot and Chelsea midfielder Nemanja Matic, 27, that the Blues want to sign him, the Daily Express reports.

Premier League rivals Manchester United and Serie A giants Inter Milan and Roma have also been linked with an interest in the 19-year-old midfielder.

Chelsea are ready to end striker Radamel Falcao’s loan deal from Monaco and Spanish club Valencia are keen on signing the 29-year-old, the Daily Mirror reports.

The Spanish giants have made enquiries to Falcao’s representatives and have the cash to do the deal.

Cristiano Ronaldo could be allowed to leave Real Madrid in the summer if they can find a club to pay the £80m they paid Manchester United to sign him, The Sun reports.

Chelsea have been linked with his signature, though they will have to compete with both Manchester United and Paris Saint Germain to win the race.

Arsenal keeper Petr Cech says it is “hard to believe” the plight his former club Chelsea are in as they lie 16th in the Premier League in defence of their title, the London Evening Standard reports.

Cech left Stamford Bridge over the summer to join Arsenal having been ousted out of his position by Thibaut Courtois.

Chelsea are said to be interested in making a move for Lokomotiv Moscow striker Oumar Niasse to boost their options up front, the Metro reports.

The Blues have had a disappointing season in the Premier League so far, with the likes of Diego Costa, Loic Remy and Radamel Falcao not providing enough quality in attack.
