Granit Xhaka
According to the Daily Star, Liverpool are keen on signing Gladbach midfielder Grant Xhaka.

The Swiss international recently committed his long-term future to the Foals, but may be tempted by the prospect of working alongside Jurgen Klopp.
Arsenal are also keen on the 23-year-old.

Robert Lewandowski
Any hopes Liverpool might have had of signing Bayern Munich hotshot Robert Lewandowski ought to be put on hold.

Real Madrid are understood to be eyeing the hotshot—who currently leads the Bundesliga scoring charts and who recently broke a handful of records in an outstanding display against Wolfsburg—and would provide stiff competition for the Reds.

Manuel Lanzini
As Jurgen Klopp seeks to add some more creative influence to his Liverpool squad, the German coach is understood to have turned his attentions to West Ham United loanee Manuel Lanzini.

The Argentine has scored three goals in his 10 Premier League outings so far, including a belter in the Hammers’ 1-1 draw against Everton.

Leroy Sane
There’s some bad news for Liverpool fans with regards to their rumoured approach for Leroy Sane.

Manchester United are now understood to be keen on the 19-year-old prodigy, and will likely look to rival the Reds for the signature of the talented young Schalke forward.

Xabi Alonso return
Remarkably, central midfielder Xabi Alonso could be set for an unexpected return to the Premier League. Reports in Italy suggest that Jurgen Klopp is keen on bringing the World Cup winner back to Anfield, and Alonso—who has been in and out of the side at Bayern Munich—might well be open to a move.
