Reports indicate that Anthony Martial picked up an injury in France’s defeat to England on Tuesday evening and is set for a spell on the sidelines.
The French forward started the friendly fixture, which England won 2-0 following goals from Dele Alli and Wayne Rooney, but was replaced by Antoine Griezmann during the second period.

After the match, French coach Didier Deschamps insisted that the player was in “quite a bit of pain”, er per Daniel Taylor of The Guardian, but expressed confidence that the forward would soon be back in action.
