10. Gerard Deulofeu – Everton

The 21-year-old is currently undergoing his second spell with The Toffees, having impressed on loan during the 2013/14 season. He has carried on from where he left off so far, so much so that Barca are said to be considering buying him back.

9. Adama Traore – Aston Villa

The powerfully built winger linked up with Villa over the summer, but so far injuries have restricted him to limited appearances. Still, there is a huge buzz around the youngster and there is no doubt that he will prove to be a quality player in claret and blue.

8. Ibrahim Afellay – Stoke City

Now 29, the Dutchman linked up with Barcelona as a promising youngster, but injury ravaged his time there and this summer he joined The Potters via two loan spells with Schalke and Olympiacos.

7. Bojan – Stoke City

The second former Blaugrana star to make his way to The Britannia. He was once tipped to follow in Lionel Messi’s footsteps to become a true star of the world game, but sadly, he never quite lived up to the hype.

6. Alex Song – West Ham

The Cameroonian was plucked from Arsenal in 2012, but struggled to establish himself in the Nou Camp XI, and last season made a return to London by joining West Ham on loan. He’s back there again, but like so many on this list, injuries have robbed him of regular game time.

5. Victor Valdes – Manchester United

Valdes was one of Barca’s most successful players during his time there, but left in 2014 to seek out a new challenge. He joined United in January, but is already on his way out after just two appearances for falling foul of Louis van Gaal.

4. Pedro – Chelsea

Many questioned Barca’s decision to allow Pedro to move on, but he wanted more game time and made the jump over to England during the summer transfer window. However, he has been unable to arrest Chelsea’s dramatic slide towards the bottom three.

3. Cesc Fabregas – Chelsea

Now in his second stint in England. Fabregas began his career at Barca before being snapped up by Arsenal as a teenager. He rejoined the club in 2011, where he played a major part in their success during that time, only to join Chelsea in 2014.

2. Yaya Toure- Manchester City

Barca must be kicking themselves for letting Toure escape their grasp back in 2010, as he has since gone on to become a true Premier League legend in his five years with City.

1. Alexis Sanchez – Arsenal

The Chilean is undoubtedly the star of the moment in the English game. Another player that Barca are likely regretting letting go.
