Chelsea chasing Boca Juniors star, deal imminent?

After yesterday’s report linking Chelsea with Borussia Dortmund striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, it has now emerged that they are also in the hunt for Boca Juniors star Jonathan Calleri.

According to the Metro, Calleri is looking for a new challenge after helping the Argentine giants win the title earlier this month.

The 22 year old left All Boys to sign for Boca in 2014, and has since gone on to score 16 goals in 44 games for the South American side.

The report claims Chelsea would need to pay around £10 million for his signature, and that if the deal does come to fruition, he would be immediately loaned out to another Premier League side in order to gain vital English top flight experience.
