Manchester United again failed to find the net as they could only muster a 0-0 draw at home against Dutch champions PSV Eindhoven in the Champions League.

Despite enjoying the lion’s share of the possession, and taking more shots than the visitors, United were again unable to score…a common theme so far this season.

David De Gea: 7.5/10

Solid throughout, and made a few key saves.

Matteo Darmian: 7/10

Pressed forward manfully, without truly being that menacing.

during the Barclays Premier League match between Manchester United and Leicester City at Old Trafford on January 31, 2015 in Manchester, England.

Chris ‘Mike’ Smalling: 7.5/10

A leader’s performance when the play was ahead of him, but his work with the ball at his feet could improve.

Daley Blind: 7/10

Predictably abused by the PSV fans, his passing-in contrast to Smalling-and set-piece delivery was excellent.

Marcos Rojo: 6/10

The weak link in the defence, Rojo was something of a passenger in this clash, and despite not having too much to deal with, he didn’t push forward with any sort of conviction.

Morgan Schneiderlin: 6/10

Could have done better with a key chance, and appeared sluggish on occasion.

Bastian Schweinsteiger: 6/10

Not one of his better days; occasionally appeared behind the play when PSV were in possession, and was replaced early.

Memphis Depay: 6.5/10

It’s not going well is it? Did little of note, despite trying to silence the visiting fans.

Wayne Rooney: 6/10

Can’t be faulted for effort, but Rooney offered little of the incision, creativity and threatening movement that can make him such a dangerous operator.

Jesse Lingard: 5.5/10

An outing to forget. Made a mockery of his England call-up with a nervy performance.

Anthony Martial: 7.5/10

Even with those around him struggling, Martial impressed with his direct running, explosive pace and smart touches.
