(Video) Thibaut Courtois makes two fine saves as Bournemouth scare Chelsea at Stamford Bridge

Thibaut Courtois made his first Chelsea start since August this evening as he returned in place of Asmir Begovic for the Premier League game against Bournemouth at Stamford Bridge.

Courtois, whose three-month absence was the result of a knee injury, has been pretty busy during the opening 45 minutes.

The scoreline remains 0-0 at half time, but the game has been very open. Josh King (pictured above) has twice tested Courtois.

Begovic conceded 22 goals in 18 matches in all competition while Courtois was out injured. Would the former Stoke stopper have denied King too? Or would Chelsea be behind if their no.2 goalkeeper was between the sticks?

Chelsea need a win tonight. A victory against the Cherries, who must beat the Blues to move out of the relegation zone, will take Jose Mourinho’s men to within 11 points of the top four.
