Chelsea to offer Zlatan Ibrahimovic £300,000-per-week to seal January transfer

Struggling Premier League champions Chelsea are poised to push through a move for Paris Saint Germain striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic in January by offering him a deal worth a reported £300,000-per-week, according to Sport Italia.

The Blues have struggled to hit a purple patch in front of goal so far this term, and there are question marks remaining over the future of star striker Diego Costa, who has been linked with a return to former club Atletico Madrid.

And now the report from Italy is claiming that the club are so desperate to arrest their poor form that they are ready to offer iconic frontman Zlatan Ibrahimovic a whopping £300,000-per-week to cut short his stay in the French capital.

The 33-year-old’s contract expires at the end of the season, and though they could decide to wait until then, it is believed Chelsea would rather get the deal done sooner than later.

Mourinho has already asked the board about a move for the player as he sees it being a quality bit of business.
