Roman Abramovic tells Pep Guardiola he can have ‘anything he wants’ at Chelsea

Chelsea owner Roman Abramovic is hoping to lure Pep Guardiola to the club by telling him that he can have whatever he wants next summer, The Sun reports.

The Russian billionaire is desperate to replace Jose Mourinho with a world class long term option, and recent news of Guardiola’s decision to step away from Bayern Munich at the end of the season had prompted Abramovic into action.

Manchester City have been tipped as the early favourites to land his services, but Chelsea chiefs are reportedly confident of being able to convince him otherwise.

It is believed that Guardiola has already given his word to Ferran Soriano and Txiki Begiristain that he will join them in Manchester next summer, but having failed to lure the 44-year-old to Stamford Bridge back in 2012, Abramovic is ready to go all out to ensure he gets his man this time around.

However, The Sun claim that should he fail to bring him on board, it is likely that he will move for Diego Simeone as his second choice.
