Liverpool & Manchester United quoted €25-30m for dazzling attacking talent

LOSC Lille have slapped a €25-30m asking price on Tottenham Hotspur, Manchester United and Liverpool transfer target Sofiane Boufal.

The forward has been one of the stars of the first half of the season in France, and has attracted interest from some of Europe’s bigger clubs.

L’Equipe [via Le 10 Sport] note that Spurs are keen on bringing the forward to White Hart Lane to offer offensive reinforcement and support for Harry Kane.

According to Telefoot [via Le 10 Sport], United are also keen on the attacker, who has bagged five goals in 17 outings for unconvincing Lille and dazzled with his agility, balance and sublime dribbling skills.

Liverpool are long-term admirers of the player, with the Metro noting that the Reds, along with Manchester City, Paris Saint-Germain and Inter Milan, have all been keeping tabs on the 22-year-old.

Addressing the rumours, speaking to L’Equipe [via Le 10 Sport], Lille chief Michel Seydoux has revealed that he would only sell his player for a bid in the region of €25-30 million, which represents a considerable increase on the fee LOSC paid to sign him from Angers a year ago.

Lille are also understood to be open only to a straight sale for the player, rather than offload him and then take him back on loan for six months.

The reason for this is that the club were disappointed with Divock Origi’s drop-off in form in the French top flight after his permanent transfer to Liverpool was confirmed.
