Ronaldinho could make Premier League move as English clubs make contact

Brazilian megastar Ronaldinho could finally be on his way to the Premier League after a number of English sides have reportedly been in contact about signing him, according to The Sun.

The 35-year-old, who has already featured in Brazil, France, Spain, Italy and Mexico believes that he still has four more years left in him before hanging up his boots and drawing a close to a long and colourful playing career.

He will now travel to the United States with Fluminense for a friendly tournament at the end of the month before signing for another club in February.

And his agent and brother, Roberto, has confirmed that there is significant interest in his signature coming from England.

“I have had more than one call from England,” he said.

“My brother is a competitor. He loves to win: that is what people do not realise about him.

“He still wants to play. He has never had serious injuries; his body is in perfect condition.

“I think he has three or four years left to him, maybe more.”

Roberto added: “It is not about money. He just wants to play. That is when I see him at his happiest.”

However, as yet, it is unclear which clubs have made offers for him.
