Man United target Neymar given £144.4m offer to quit Barcelona

Reports in Spanish news outlet Radio Catalunya have claimed that Neymar’s father has confirmed that the player has received a huge offer to leave the club.

Manchester United have been heavily linked with his signature in recent months as talks over a new deal to keep him at the Nou Camp not going as smoothly as the player would have liked.

And now Neymar Sr, who works as his son’s agent, has said that they have received a huge offer to whisk the player away from Spain.

The report states his father informed a Spanish tax trial that there was an offer on the table worth a stunning £144.4m.

And he hinted that it was from Manchester United, after denying that the offer was from Real Madrid, who have so far been the only other club linked.

The move could go ahead over the summer, after United failed to make their move for the Brazilian international during the January transfer window.
