(Video) Stoke City 0-3 Everton: Lukaku and company wreck Stoke in first half as BPL climb continues

Behind the sharp foot of Romelu Lukaku, the head of Seamus Coleman and the incredible speed of Aaron Lennon, Everton won their second game in a row and avenged their late December loss to the Potters in a 3-0 blowout that was over by halftime.

Lukaku was given a penalty opportunity early and cashed it in with ease, scoring his 16th Premier League goal of the season and tied his career high of 20 total goals in the process.

Midway through the first half, Seamus Coleman would catch a perfectly executed corner from Tom Cleverley and convert it for a goal to the top right corner, doubling the Everton lead in the process.

The backbreaker came just before halftime as Aaron Lennon intercepted a simple pass from a Stoke City defender and drove it all the way down the pitch for a goal to send Everton into halftime with a 3-0 lead.

Stoke City proved unable to make a dent in the Everton defence and fell to the Toffees at Britannia Stadium. Everton avenged their loss to Stoke at Goodison Park at the end of 2015 in a 4-3 comeback loss at the hands of the Potters.
