Arsenal set to make Milan scoring genius their Alexis Sanchez replacement

With less than ten games left to play and a combination of injuries and weak support plaguing the team, Arsenal striker Alexis Sanchez is on pace for his lowest goal total in league play in over five years. Despite his struggles, Alexis Sanchez is very clearly going to be a top transfer target for teams across Europe and could very well leave in the summer. Luckily for the Gunners, a replacement appears to be on the transfer list in the form of AC Milan ace Carlos Bacca.

According to the Metro, Arsenal are prepared to make a move for the 29-year-old Colombian striker should they be forced to part ways with the struggling Alexis Sanchez.

While Sanchez has scored just seven goals in 21 league matches, Bacca has looked as good as ever with 14 goals in 30 Serie A matches following a big transfer from Sevilla before the season.

Bacca has scored at least 12 league goals in ten of his 11 professional seasons and has scored at least 20 in five of his last seven.
