Juventus target £30m PFA Player of the Year candidate

Leicester City midfielder N’Golo Kante has quietly been one of the most important players for the Foxes during their Premier League title chase. His strong defensive play has earned him a place on the PFA Player of the Year shortlist as well as the interest of Serie A giants Juventus.

According to Gazzetta dello Sport [per talkSPORT], Juventus are lining up a transfer move for the £30 million-rated midfielder as a replacement for the injured Claudio Marchisio.

Earlier this month Leicester City manager Claudio Ranieri admitted that it would be hard to keep Kante at King Power Stadium if he was determined to join a larger, wealthier European club.

Kante joined Leicester in a transfer deal from the tiny French club Caens before the start of the season. He has been so impressive for the Foxes that he earned his first ever caps for France in their March friendlies, scoring his first ever international goal in a 4-2 win over Russia.
