(Video) Former Invincible Gael Clichy sets up Arsenal equaliser at Man City with bizarre assist

Gael Clichy made his name at Arsenal.

After being plucked from Cannes as a spotty teenager, the French left-back went on to play 111 Premier League games for the Gunners, with whom he was a member of the famous Invincibles in 2004.

But he plays for Manchester City now, although he seemed to momentarily forget that during the first half of today’s game at the Etihad Stadium.

This awful defensive header almost gave goalkeeper Joe a Hart-attack.

Instead, it shaved the post and gave Arsenal a corner kick, from which Olivier Giroud ended his long goal drought.

Giroud headed home to level the game at 1-1, after Sergio Aguero had fired City in front.
