Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp is set to be a busy man this summer, as the German tactician continues to hope to add more new faces to his squad.

According to Sportske Novosti, 19-year-old midfielder Ante Coric has emerged as one of his top targets after impressing for Dinamo Zagreb.

Furthermore, it is claimed that the Liverpool boss has even invited the youngster and his representatives to the club’s training ground in order to discuss a move to Anfield.

Klopp is evidently a big admirer of the Croatia Under-21 international, who made 41 appearances in all competitions this past season, scoring five goals and creating six. Having shown versatility and an ability to provide a creative spark in the final third, Coric is regarded as one of the top prospects in Croatia.

With the report claiming that Liverpool are ready to bid £11.5m for the talented midfielder, it might not be long before the Premier League outfit are adding another new star to their squad.

Klopp has already signed Joel Matip and Marko Grujic, while Sky Sports have reported that Loris Karius is in Liverpool ahead of completing his £4.7m move to Anfield as his rebuild continues to gather pace.

After showing signs of his influence this season, Klopp is hoping that having an entire summer to add his own type of players to the squad will result in success next season, and Coric could well be an exciting addition in his own right based on the level of performances he has produced in Croatia in the early years of his career.

Nevertheless, with so much room for development and with plenty to learn, it remains to be seen how he adapts to Klopp’s demands and those of the Premier League, should he complete a move to England this summer.
