Chelsea transfer news: Arsenal shunned as Spanish frontman wants to sign for Blues or Mourinho

The latest Chelsea transfer news, coming via reports from Spain, suggests that Arsenal and Paris Saint-Germain will be snubbed by a striker who has narrowed down his summer transfer options to two clubs.

That striker is Alvaro Morata and the two clubs he is said to be interested in joining are Chelsea and Manchester United.

AS claim that the 23-year-old is likely to leave Juventus this summer, with Real Madrid apparently ready to activate a buyback clause.

However, it is reported by AS that Real only intend to re-sign Morata in order to sell him on at a profit.

According to the Spanish publication, Real hope to sell Morata for around €60m – double the €30m they must pay Juve, who bought him from the Madrid giants for €22m just two years ago.

AS say Morata wants to play for either Chelsea boss Antonio Conte or Man United manager Jose Mourinho, leaving Arsenal and PSG shunned.

Morata scored seven Serie A goals last season and made seven assists, largely playing out wide and often used as a sub.

He also netted twice in the Champions League, adding two assists in that competition.
