The internet is awash with Chelsea transfer news. Here’s the highlights.

Widespread reports claim that new Blues boss Antonio Conte plans to implement a 3-3-4 formation at Stamford Bridge next season.

That system means that strikers are likely to be top of Conte’s wish-list this summer. Romelu Lukaku and Alvaro Morata are being considered, but The Times now understands that Liverpool flop Christian Benteke is being lined up to partner Diego Costa.

Another frontman being linked with a move to SW6 is Bayern Munich’s Robert Lewandowski. And the giant Pole is unsettled in Bavaria and is now ready to consider a move to England, according to the Daily Mail.

Meanwhile, Chelsea could be set to lose one of the star forwards, with Pedro having held transfer talks regarding a shock return to Barcelona after less than one year in London.

Twenty-year-old frontman Stipe Perica (picture top) is already a goner, having completed a permanent switch to Udinese, where he had impressed on loan.

Two other strikers will definitely leave Chelsea during the off-season, as Radamel Falcao and Alexandre Pato will not have their loan deals renewed.

Conte’s 3-3-4 formation would also require investment in defence. Juventus centre-back Leonardo Bonucci is seen as the ideal man to help Chelsea’s new boss make things work, but Gazzetta dello Sport suggest the 29-year-old could cost as much as £49m.
