Transfer blow to Man United as French star prefers Real Madrid move

The idea of a reunion between Paul Pogba and Manchester United may sound mouth-watering, but it may not be as likely as suspected as the Juventus midfielder appears to have other destinations in mind.

According to the Express, Pogba is favoring a move to Real Madrid over Man United amidst interest from the two clubs in acquiring him from Juventus.

The Express report also noted that if a deal between Real Madrid and Juventus does not materialize, he would prefer to return to the Serie A giants.

The 23-year-old Pogba tied a career-high in scoring eight goals while adding a Serie A best 12 assists as Juventus claimed their fifth straight Serie A title – and fourth with Pogba at midfield.

Once an academy prospect at Manchester United, Pogba was sold to Juventus in 2012 and quickly emerged as one of Europe’s top midfielders, helping the team to four straight Serie A titles and a Champions League Final appearance in 2015.
