Turkish Super Lig giants Galasataray are interested in bringing in Man United midfielder Marouane Fellaini into the fold. With the Red Devils poised to ask for a lot in exchange for the Belgian attacker, Galasataray plan to offer one of their prized playmakers as part of the potential arrangement.
According to Turkish Football via Aksam, Galasataray have offered Wesley Sneijder as part of an exchange move for Fellaini. Turkish Football noted that the Super Lig giants are in the market for a physical midfielder of Fellaini’s stature.
The 28-year-old Belgian is coming off a down year in which he made just 12 Premier League starts and scored one goal. However, Fellaini proved invaluable to Man United in their FA Cup campaign, scoring two goals – including difference makers in wins over West Ham United and Everton en route to a title win over Crystal Palace.
Sneijder, 32, scored five goals and 10 assists for Galasataray this past season. The 32-year-old Netherlands attacker has won two Super Lig and three Turkish Cup titles in four seasons with the team since joining from Inter Milan in January 2013.
