Galatasaray to make enquiry regarding availability of Man City defender

Manchester City defender Jason Denayer faces an uncertain future at the club and could move further down the pecking order should the Premier League giants sing John Stones.

Denayer did himself admit that he is uncertain whether head coach Pep Guardiola has plans for him or not next season.

The 21-year-old was quoted as saying by FourFourTwo: “I’m happy to be back here. You never know what’s going to happen – it depends on the coach and me.

“I try to do my best in training and we’re going to see if I’m part of the new manager’s plan or not.”

A source close to Galatasaray told Emre Sarigul that they have been keeping close tabs on Denayer and will make an enquiry regarding his availability for another loan next session. The Lions would be hoping to sign the young defender on a temporary move as City value him as being worth £12 million.

The Lions signed Denayer on a loan move last season and the board was left impressed with his display. The Belgium international setup Lukas Podolski with the winning goal in the Turkish Cup final victory over rivals Fenerbahce.
