European giants want swift resolution to sign Man City’s Belgium international, Arsenal also interested

Galatasaray manager Jan Olde Riekerink is keen to sign Manchester City defender Jason Denayer.

A Source close to the player revealed to Eren Sarigul that the Dutch manager wants to secure the Belgium international on a loan deal as soon as possible, ideally before the beginning of the season.

Galatasaray host Karabukspor at the Turk Telekom Arena for their opening game of the season next weekend. Denayer defender established himself as a first team favourite at the Istanbul giants, providing an assist in the Turkish Cup final victory over Fenerbahce.

Meanwhile, The Sun states that if City were to sell Denayer it would cost clubs interested £12 million. The tabloid newspaper goes onto state that the Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is interested in signing Denayer as a solution for his defensive crisis.

Denayer’s City future looks in doubt after he was not included in the match day squad against Sunderland for their opening Premier League game of the season.
