Man City transfer news: France international’s agent demands €6.5m from Turkish champions

Manchester City’s out-of-favour playmaker Samir Nasri is in advanced talked with the Turkish Super League champions Besiktas as he nears a Premier League exit.

A source close to the club told Caught-Offside’s Eren Sarigul that Besiktas president Fikret Orman flew to England on Tuesday to hold talks with City over the France international.

Per the source, talks between City and Besiktas have reached an advanced stage. The Istanbul giants are hoping to sign Nasri on a season long lan deal.

However, Nasri’s agent is demanding a guarantee on the €6.5 million his client is set to earn if he stays at City.

The Citizens and Besiktas are yet to reach an agreement on his wages but should a compromise be made Nasri will join the Istanbul giants on a temporary move for the season.

Besiktas will be able to guarantee Nasri first-team action in the Champions League this season and the team is among the favourites in the title race.
