Crystal Palace have struck a deal with Chelsea to loan out-of-favour striker Loic Remy according to the Daily Star.

Per the source, Palace will loan the French striker which will include a £10.3 million buyout clause option.

The powerful striker joined the Blues on a £10.5 million move from QPR in 2014, signing a four-year deal with the London based outfit.

Remy’s future at Chelsea was cast in doubt after the head coach Antonio Conte dropped him from the squad for the opening two games of the Premier League.

The 29-year-old has also been closely linked with a loan move to Besiktas who were able to offer him Champions League football.

Remy scored just one goal in 13 Premier league appearances for Chelsea last season.

Palace also recently confirmed the signing of Christian Benteke from Liverpool, with the Belgian striker penning a four-year deal with the club.

The Eagles have confirmed the news on their official website, stating that the deal has been done for an ‘undisclosed fee’ with the 25-year-old becoming their fourth summer signing.
