Man City flop set for £2m move to Premier League rivals

Manchester City striker Wilfried Bony is set to join Stoke City on a one-year loan deal which will see the Potters pay a £2 million fee for his services according to the Daily Mail.

Per the source, Stoke will cover his £120,000 a week wages over the course of the season.

The Ivory Coast intentional striker revealed today on his official Twitter account that he is looking forward to a new challenge.

Bony’s latest tweet is being interpreted as confirmation that he will leave City however, there has been no official statement from either club as of yet regarding the latest status of the transfer deadline day move.

The powerful striker is yet to feature for City under Pep Guardiola this season and the Spanish tactician has made it clear he has no place for Bony in the team.

Bony highly rated during his time at Swansea but has managed to find the net just 10 times for City including only four Premier League goals over the last league campaign.
