Manchester United have taken to social media to reveal the winning of their Goal of the Month competition.
The Red Devils shared a picture of the Norway international Jesse Lingard along with the caption, “You voted Jesse Lingard’s stunning solo effort against Leicester as our Goal of the Month. Congrats, Jesse!”

Lingard was a key member of United’s team last season, making 48 appearances in all competitions under Louis van Gaal. However, the 23-year-old has made just one appearances against Leicester City in the Community Shield this term.
Manchester United host their rivals Manchester City at Old Trafford this weekend.
