Arsenal playmaker Mesut Ozil has taken to social media to reach out and wish his former teammate Luka Modric a happy birthday.
Mordic turned 31 earlier this week and used to play alongside Ozil when the Germany international was a Real Madrid player.
Ozil shared a picture of the duo in training along with the caption, “Sending you many happy wishes today! All the best.”

The 27-year-old played the full 90 minutes during Arsenal’s 2-1 win over Southampton on Saturday. Ozil is expected to start once again when the Gunners take on the Ligue 1 champions PSG in the UEFA Champions League next week.
